Rita Acharyya produced the film SECOND COMING IN THE 2nd GRADE with her twin sister, Smita Acharyya, through their production company Twinsletown Productions. The film received the NSI Drama Prize Award and was screened in numerous festivals. The twins teamed up once again to make the AMPIA nominated film DOWNSIZING. Rita’s talents include winning reality shows! She competed against eleven other participants in the reality show “Dream Chasers.” Taking home the top prize, Rita won her dream of converting an RV into an MV (Massage Vehicle, otherwise known as a heavenly spa on wheels) through which Rita has been able to bring healing massage and Reiki to people’s doorsteps. Rita proudly received an AMPIA award for Twinsletown’s latest short film SORRY GIRL. Rita has appeared in the documentary VIVA BENGALI and several short films. She continues to work with her twin on their first feature film SHANTI CLAUS and other projects in development.
Rémi Boudreau put his rebellious teen angst and orange mohawk to good use when he began his career as the frontman and co-songwriter for the metal band Cloud 9. As he mellowed into his 30s, his musical talent eventually introduced him to the film industry when he penned the theme song “Forgive and Forget” for the award winning short film SECOND COMING IN THE 2nd GRADE. Rémi’s unique talents won him a starring role in the comical Christmas music video ENOUGH. Ever the Renaissance man, his artistic talents include creating historically accurate weaponry, a specialized skill he used to create props for various movies and television including DRACULA 2000 and the Gemini-nominated documentary series FISH OUT OF WATER. His quirky sense of humour and talent for upsetting his mother-in-law were featured in the internationally broadcast, award-winning Documentary VIVA BENGALI. Rémi is pleased have his decades of ranting about a moneyless world put to good use as a co-writer for the film HYPHAE.
